THE QUIET DAYS

Loss can isolate you, it can make you see the world and the relationships that surround you in a different light. It becomes harder to get back into life, you sit on the outskirts wanting to join in, but realising that if you do, you too are moving on and starting to get back into the grind.

At this point guilt sets in, it stops you from rejoining society and those small select few of individuals that are with you on a constant basis are the only ones you feel comfortable with. Your safe space, where if you smile falters it’s okay.  Everyone says time is what heals your heart, the amount depends on who you are. There’s no right or wrong is what I am learning as I walk this path, my priorities are more personal then ever.
