I don’t usually do beauty reviews, but I felt after testing out Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean face wash it might be nice to share it with you…. iv’e been trying new ones all year just to see A) what’s out there and B) I feel like my skin gets used to products and then they stop working. This has been a rather fun experiment , and I must say I have learnt a lot about my own skin type and what works.
Spent the weekend back from Mauritius(will post about that soon) seeing friends and potting plants. Having assumed it would be miserable on cold on my return I have tried to wear jeans for 3 days straight, only to be forced out of my utility pants and back into a floppy dress. Where art thou rain? The light was too pretty Sunday afternoon not to snap a couple pictures of newly acquired bits.
Currently living in a constant state of mild anxiety my skin seems to have taken the toll. Sitting on the dryer side of skin types, my pelt is more droog-toast then baby bottom fresh. So because of that I’ve always been more into oils. I thought I’d share a couple of the wellness/ beauty items I’ve been using on my skin for the past two months for a little change from the regular outfit post.
I’m a convenience person, the kind that heads to 24hr Woolworths to do a “shop” cause I can’t bear the parking at the Garden Centre during rush hour at 6pm. As much as I understand that hard work pays off when it comes to taking off my make-up I’ve always taken the shortcut.
As I hit my mid twenties I have begun to consider skincare a rather important part of my life. Trying to keep the moisture in my face has become quite the pastime, after a make-up artist old me the fine lines around my mouth were a definitive sign of dehydration! Since then my water intake has been on the increase, and my moisturising routine on point.
